Shamona Crawford-Mosley

Shamona was still inside her SUV in the parking lot of the Premier Federal Credit Union when her estranged husband, Eric Mosley, arrived in a rental car blocking her vehicle. He shot her multiple times then turned the gun on himself.

Today, we lost a co-worker and a friend. Our staff is devastated by this tragedy. We will miss Shamona’s smile, her warm personality and her friendship. During her time at Premier FCU, Shamona took care of our members like family. A perfect example of her willingness to help people was when a member locked the keys in their car and Shamona drove them home to get the spare set. She cared about our members and her co-workers. Our members will miss seeing her in our branch and we will miss working with her. She was so proud of her beautiful children and their loss is the most tragic of all.

We will never understand why this had to happen or why this mom, sister, daughter, friend lost her life so young. We can only remember her with love and keep her family in our prayers. She was taken from her four children ages 11, 6, 5, and 15mo. You only get one mom. No matter how much you try, no one can take the place of your mother. No one. It doesn't matter how good you are to someone, and he took that from them.

Why would he choose violence and leave his children orphaned and the unborn child from an extramarital relationship fatherless when he and Shamona were recently separated, their divorce in progress, and child custody agreement already settled?
