Love Forever
Beautiful and intelligent, Jenean Chapman strived for excellence and was ambitiously driven. As an Afro Caribbean woman, she had a strong and independant mindset. Unfortunely this strong and vivacious daughter, sister and aunt was taken away from her family. Even the strongest amoungst us, can succumb and fall into the entrapment of narcissism. Jenean loved hard, and devouted her self to be charitable and to help those around her, including the man she loved. She trusted the wrong man who utimately took her life. He's currently on trial and we hope justice will be eventually served. Despite her no longer being with us, her memories remain strong in our hearts and minds. Rest in peace Jenean.
Jenean's accomplishments:
Jenean Chapman has a diverse work experience in the marketing and digital strategy field. Jenean worked as a Senior Vice President- Client Partner at Critical Mass since May 2023. Prior to this, she was a Vice President of Marketing Services at Hero Digital from March 2021 to May 2023.
Before joining Hero Digital, Jenean was the Senior Director of Marketing at Ingrid & Isabel, LLC from August 2020 to March 2021. In this role, she developed and implemented marketing strategies across various channels and managed a team of marketing professionals.
From January 2018 to August 2020, Jenean worked as a Consultant at Clicktale, where she engaged clients, developed marketing plans, and collaborated with product and engineering teams to enhance customer experience.
Jenean has also held positions at UBM Fashion Group as the Director of Digital Strategy & Marketing from May 2013 to October 2017, at VaynerMedia as an Account Supervisor from July 2012 to May 2013, at Attention as an Associate Director from May 2011 to July 2012, at Buddy Media as an Account Manager from March 2010 to March 2011, at Agent 16 as a Business Development Manager from December 2007 to March 2010, and at Mediaedge:cia as a Business Development Coordinator/AE from April 2005 to May 2007.
Throughout her career, Jenean has demonstrated expertise in developing marketing strategies, managing teams, and ensuring client satisfaction. Jenean later enrolled at Syracuse University, where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Television, Radio & Film Production.

Jenean was near and dear to my heart. A friend, colleague, mentor, play big sister - full of life. I cannot imagine her being gone - she deserved so much better and was an inspiration on how to live a full life and successful career and doing it with the best sense of humor. This is just so incredibly sad.

I worked with Jenean and always appreciated her intellect, direct approach to getting things done, and laugh. She and I would laugh about how I always brought leftover food to my kids after company events. Jenean was a great person. I'm so sorry for your family's loss, and my deepest condolences.

I loved Jenean! She was committed to her work, shamelessly loved the color purple and absolutely adored her nieces. Her and I got along since the day we met, shared some of the best inside jokes that to this I day I find myself laughing about and through the tears remained in touch. She was sweet and generous and I will miss her dearly.

Jenean was my friend and a co- worker under Russell Simmons. Jenean and her sister Charene were absolute joys to work with. Jenean took care of my deaf dog when she tore her ACL with such love - in essence rescuing my entire family in the process since we had no options for Stevie until Jenean stepped up. I feel strongly that Stevie was there to greet her as she entered the pearly gates of Heaven. I have so much love and admiration for this family and send the highest prayers to them and Jenean who will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Jenean worked with our marketing team at Hancock Whitney from 2021 -2023. We referred to her as Big Sister because she was smart, thoughtful and coached us how to be smarter digital marketers. I was happy sad when she got this new gig bc she seemed excited but our team was so bummed to see her go. There are no words to express my sympathy to her family and friends. Will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

We haven’t worked together directly in years, but WOW, is Jenean memorably funny, sharp and kind. I’m grateful for her check ins. My heart goes out to her family. I cannot empathize more deeply during this time of loss.

I met Jenean in the early 00’s whilst she was working with the Duchess of York! We first met through Deborah Jaffa, Elaine and Eric at a party, and then spent time together whilst she was in London. I took a trip over to see her in NYC and she showed me around town, meeting some of her wonderful friends, a lot of whom shared that East coast sassy humour.
I would describe Jenean as one of the loveliest, kindest and fun people, we went to a house party in Camden, and Jenean made such an impression, everybody loved her so much. My friends all remember her so well 20 years later.
We kept in touch from time to time, Jenean never changed and was always so positive to be around.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all the friends and family of Jenean Chapman, may she rest in peace.

Jenean was an incredible friend. The kind that didn’t pressure you when life got in the way and just picked right back up where we left off. She was funny, brilliant, witty, strong, and you just knew you were loved when you were in her presence. I loved hearing stories about her world travels and when she would dote on her two nieces it just filled my heart with so much joy. She was so very proud of them. I’ve always admired and been inspired by your drive, ambition, hard-working nature and ability to face your fears and go for what you want. You always took care of everyone. You were a force and a bright light. You brought joy and love. You were my best friend and sister. I wish you peace and rest. Until we meet again, you will remain in my heart always.

Jenean was an amazing friend and confidant. Always willing to comfort and have a good time! I will truly miss her and glad to have our memories of nothing but good moments. Strong, independent, inspiring, and stood up for what’s hers.
